Dovre – Classic 640 Series Fireplace features include:
The Dovre Classic Series features a fresh, modern style of freestanding traditional fireplaces. The Dovre Classic 640 comes with a rustic, cast iron design, a large glass window, a separate ash pan door and a side door for loading wood. It features compact dimensions, decorative sides and subtle curves. The 640 is the smaller version of the 760 Series.
The combustion chamber is lined with Chamotte firebrick, loads 50cm logs and the ash pan is removable for an easy clean. Models come with the latest Clean Burn and Air Wash technology. Dovre stoves feature a glass aeration system that directs secondary combustion gases along the glass for a window that stays clean for longer.
The 640 series comes with a top and rear flue exit option.
The 640 comes standard as a multi-fuel fireplace with a multi-fuel grate and primary air that is thermostatically regulated (640GB), but is also available as a wood-burning fireplace (640CB). The CB version is available on order only. Comes standard in a black-lacquered finish, but ‘optional extra’ enamel colours are also available, such as Majolica-Brown (E6), Glossy-Black (E10) and Creamy-White (E8). Enamel finishes are available on order only. The 640 is available with an ‘optional extra’ external air connection. The 640GM is available with an ‘optional extra’ anthracite hopper.
