Biltong makes an appearance on the famous American TV Show Duck Dynasty

It’s not every day we get to see something from “Africa” on an American TV show, and when we do, it always tends to spark our curiosity. In a episode of Duck Dynasty Willie Robertson receives a package of biltong from South Africa. His wife depicts the perfect naivety we’d expect from an American and their knowledge of Africa, especially when she asked if “biltong is a type of animal?”.

Unsurprisingly Willie goes on to explain how amazing biltong is, as we all know. He also expresses his fondness of the word itself and I must admit, its hilarious to hear him say it with that Southern American, ‘hillbilly’ accent.
