Is a gas fireplace the same as a gas braai?
No. This range is for gas fireplaces used for space heating and the enjoyment of a flame. Gas braais are cooking appliances with a separate shopping range.
Which gas fireplace brands do you stock?
HomeFires, Chad-O-Chef and Jetmaster. Every gas fireplace comes with the maker’s warranty, and we help you after you buy.
What does vent-free or flueless mean?
These terms describe an appliance designed to operate without a conventional flue when installed as specified. Room suitability, ventilation and installation requirements still apply. Have a suitable registered gas installer assess the exact model and space.
Can I choose LPG or natural gas?
Some ranges offer both configurations. Check the gas and valve options for the exact fireplace and select the correct version for your supply with your installer.
Do all gas fireplaces come with a remote?
No. Control systems vary. Some models offer a choice of manual or remote-controlled valves, while others have a particular system. Check the selected option and what is included in its price.
Can a gas fireplace fit in an existing opening?
It depends on the opening and the appliance. Have your installer assess the site, gas route, clearances and ventilation, then use the installation drawing for your selected model.
Can I get a double-sided gas fireplace?
Yes. Use the double-sided shopping route to compare the models in this range. Check the dimensions and installation requirements of that exact version.
Is the installation included?
Check the product package for included parts and options. Gas fitting, surround work and additional components may be separate costs. We sell and deliver fireplaces; we do not install them.
Do you deliver gas fireplaces across South Africa?
Yes. Confirm the delivery cost, availability, timing and receiving arrangements for your chosen product and address before booking the installation. Most gas fireplaces are made or ordered for you, so delivery usually takes 10–12 working days.
Can I return a gas fireplace?
Yes. If a gas fireplace does not suit you, you can return it within 14 days. The Terms give the conditions.
