Set the dome on the top-grid supports of your Sizzler or Hob Grill and you have a braai with a lid. Its integrated thermometer lets you keep an eye on the heat. With the dome closed, never run every burner on high. Store it dry and under cover, because the thermometer is not waterproof. The rotisserie kit stays an option for later.

Leave room behind the braai for the open lid.
The dome body is 750 mm wide. Opened, the lid rises to 430 mm and reaches 65 mm behind the base, so check the wall or counter behind your braai. If you add the rotisserie kit, it sticks out at both sides.

What does it fit?
Only Chad-O-Chef's 4-burner Sizzler and Hob Grill braais. Chad-O-Chef's standard domes suit the matching Sizzler and Hob Grill and nothing else. The dome sits on the grill's top-grid supports. Send us a photo of your braai if you are not sure.
Does it come with a rotisserie?
No, this is the dome without the rotisserie. Chad-O-Chef sells the rotisserie kit (motor and spit) on its own, and also a complete dome-and-kit set. Your braai is sold separately.
Inland 304 or coastal 316 steel?
Chad-O-Chef makes this dome in inland 304 and coastal 316 stainless steel. Pick your grade on this page, and ask us if you are not sure which suits your home.
Can I run all the burners on high?
Not with the dome closed: Chad-O-Chef says never to run all the grill burners on high with the dome down. Use the integrated thermometer to watch the heat, and see the instruction manual for the details.
Can it stay outside?
Keep it dry and sheltered when you are not cooking. The thermometer is not classified waterproof.
What space does the open lid need?
The body is 750 mm wide, and closed the dome stands 270 mm high and 420 mm deep. Open, the lid rises to 430 mm and reaches 65 mm behind the 350 mm base. Fit the rotisserie kit and the motor adds 120 mm on the left, the spit handle 100 mm on the right.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. Chad-O-Chef advertises a three-year guarantee on its standard domes, subject to its terms. Ask us for the full terms.
