The steak is best braaied over coals or wood. Prep: 1 hr Cook: 30 mins Ingredients '--FOR THE MARINADE125ml sunflower oil80ml orange juice80ml lemon juice45ml soy sauce45ml Worcestershire sauce3 garlic cloves, crushed500g beef flank steakFOR THE CHIMICHURRI SAUCE250ml parsley250ml coriander125ml olive oil2 spring onions, sliced3 garlic cloves, crushed45ml lime juice30ml red wine vinegar½ red chilli, chopped Directions 1For the marinade, combine all the ingredients and cover the flank in the mixture. 2Marinate for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight.3For the chimichurri, blitz all the ingredients until finely chopped. Season.4Prepare your fire. Shake excess marinade off the steak and season.5Cook for about 5 minutes on each side for medium or until cooked to your liking. 6Set aside to rest for 5 minutes.
