THE GRILL
Five burners, lit with a spark.
Piezo spark ignition gets the five burners going under an 865 × 350 mm grilling area. On LPG, each burner uses at most 0.28 kg of gas an hour: a handy figure when you plan how much gas to keep.

Grill on the open grids over five burners, or set the dome in place and let its high-torque motor turn the roast while the thermometer shows the heat. The Sizzler stands free or fits a recess in a counter, and it can replace the grates of a traditional built-in braai. Use it outdoors, or on a patio with one open side.
LUNCH ON THE PATIO
The dome is closed, the motor turns the roast and there is time to slice the peppers and set the table. Keep an eye on the thermometer and let lunch take its time. Chops on the grill on a weeknight, a slow roast on Sunday: one braai for both.
The counter and its cabinets, the table and chair, the plants, the chopping board and the food are not included. Have a registered gas installer plan the recess and the gas connection.

THE GRILL
Piezo spark ignition gets the five burners going under an 865 × 350 mm grilling area. On LPG, each burner uses at most 0.28 kg of gas an hour: a handy figure when you plan how much gas to keep.
THE DOME
The high-torque motor turns the rotisserie rod for you, and the thermometer shows the heat inside the dome. Balance the meat evenly on the rod, keep it to 7.5 kg, and don't run all the burners on high with the dome closed.
THE CARE
The 6 mm stainless-steel grids are dishwasher safe, and a stainless-steel drip tray comes with the grill. Store the dome dry and sheltered: its thermometer is not waterproof, and the motor needs protecting from water.
ALLOW ROOM FOR THE DOME
Plan the recess, the dome and the open lid together.
These are product sizes, not a cut-out: in a recess, allow 5 mm on each side of the grill. Dome heights are from the dome’s own base, and its lid needs 65 mm behind it to open. Confirm the dome’s width with us, and have your gas installer check the space.
GOOD TO KNOW
Read the instruction manual before you plan the installation.
The Chad-O-Chef Sizzler five-burner gas grill and its five-burner rotisserie dome, in the grade you choose. The grill comes with its 6 mm stainless-steel cooking grids, a stainless-steel cover, a stainless-steel drip tray and the instruction manual. The dome has a thermometer and a high-torque motor, with the rotisserie rod, a pair of skewers, a wear bush and a handle. Installation is not included.
Choose Inland Grade or Coastal Grade stainless steel in the options on this page, for both the grill and the dome. Coastal Grade is offered for coastal and corrosive conditions. In the options on this page, Inland Grade is "Stainless steel" and Coastal Grade is "Stainless Steel 316".
Chad-O-Chef makes the Sizzler for LPG or natural gas, so tell us which you have before you order. On LPG, each burner uses at most 0.28 kg an hour at an operating pressure of 2.8 kPa. On natural gas, each burner uses at most 0.36 m³ an hour at 2.0 kPa. A gas installer registered for your gas type must install it.
Yes. The Sizzler can stand on its own, go into a built-in recess that follows Chad-O-Chef’s installation requirements, or replace the wood-burning grates of a traditional built-in braai. Allow 5 mm on each side of the 925 mm grill. The surrounds must be non-flammable and heat resistant, with flame-retardant buffering for any heat-sensitive structure. Ask us to confirm the dome’s width before you build the recess.
The grill is 925 mm wide and 490 mm deep with the controls, or 425 mm deep at the rim. It is 220 mm high from the top of the rim to the base, and the body below the rim is 210 mm. These are product sizes, not a cut-out.
Closed, the dome is 270 mm high and 420 mm deep, measured from its own base. With the lid open it rises to 430 mm, and the lid needs 65 mm behind the dome to swing open. The motor sticks out 120 mm past the left side of the dome and the rod handle 100 mm past the right. The dome sits inside the grill on the channels that hold the top grids, so ask us for the height with the dome in place.
The grilling area is 865 × 350 mm, over five burners, and the opening inside the rim is 875 × 350 mm. The cooking grids are 6 mm stainless-steel bar and dishwasher safe.
No. The Sizzler is for domestic use outdoors, or on a patio with at least one open side.
Balance the meat evenly on the rod: the motor turns up to 7.5 kg. Don't run all the burners on high with the dome closed. The thermometer is not waterproof, so keep the dome dry and sheltered when you are not using it, and protect the motor from water.
Two ways to spread the heat on the Sizzler are listed: hot rock or flame tamers. Ask us which one comes with your braai before you order.
The Sizzler grill has a three-year Chad-O-Chef guarantee, subject to its terms. Ask us for the guarantee terms of the rotisserie dome.
Yes. Send a photo and the measurements of your space, and we will help you plan the grill, the dome and the recess. We do not install: arrange the installation with an independent gas installer who is registered for your gas type.
