THE HEAT
Let the thermometer guide you.
We recommend 280–300 °C for pizza, with 350 °C as the maximum. The thermometer that comes with the oven tells you when it is time to slide the next one in.

Give the Festivo a small fire for two hours before its first bake, then let dry hardwood do the work. With the door and chimney choke open, it needs about 45–60 minutes to reach cooking heat. Push the coals to the back, slide pizzas onto the oven floor with the lifter and keep an eye on the thermometer as the evening rolls on.
LONG AFTERNOONS, WOOD SMOKE
The fire has settled, the first pizza is sliding in and your friends have topped up their glasses. Three to four large pizzas fit at a time, so nobody waits long for the next round. Give the Festivo a solid base in your courtyard and let the afternoon run into the evening.
The whitewashed masonry base, firewood, table, food, glasses and plants are not included. The oven comes without a base: build a solid one, or add the optional mobile stand.
GOOD HEAT, GOOD PIZZA
THE HEAT
We recommend 280–300 °C for pizza, with 350 °C as the maximum. The thermometer that comes with the oven tells you when it is time to slide the next one in.
THE FLOOR
Rake the coals to the side or back with the coal rake, then bake each pizza directly on the oven floor. The door opening is 550 mm wide, with room to work the pizza lifter.
THE STAND
The Festivo mobile stand and its sliding stainless-steel table are optional. On the stand, lock the wheels before you fit the chimney or use the table, and lift the chimney off before you roll over uneven ground.
MEASURE THE WHOLE SETUP
Plan a base that carries 150 kg.
The body is 1,030 mm deep and 750 mm high, without the chimney. Ask us to confirm its outside width before you build a base. Have an independent installer check the base and safe clearances.
GOOD TO KNOW
Read the instruction manual before you light the first fire.
The Al Fresco Festivo wood-fired pizza oven in the Abstract mosaic design, with removable handles, its door, a standard stainless-steel chimney, a thermometer, a pizza lifter and a coal rake. The Festivo mobile stand and its sliding stainless-steel table are optional extras you can add on this page.
Three to four large pizzas at a time. The door opening is 550 mm wide and 275 mm high.
Allow about 45–60 minutes to reach cooking heat. It is Al Fresco's estimate, not a promise. Keep the door and the chimney choke open while the oven heats.
We recommend 280–300 °C for pizza, with a maximum of 350 °C. Use the thermometer that comes with the oven to keep an eye on it.
Dry hardwood. Do not burn charcoal, or laminated, painted or treated wood.
Before you cook in it for the first time, burn a small fire for two hours and keep the oven below 200 °C. The instruction manual takes you through it.
No. The stand is optional: without it, set the oven on a solid base of your own that carries its 150 kg. With the stand, lock the wheels before you fit the chimney or use the sliding table, take the chimney off before you move over uneven ground, and do not lean on the table.
The oven body is 1,030 mm deep and 750 mm high, without the chimney or a stand. Ask us to confirm the outside width before you build a base or plan a tight corner.
Yes. A standard stainless-steel chimney comes with the oven. Its 800 mm is the nominal length of the pipe, not the height it adds once fitted. The photos show the optional black chimney.
Brush out the ash and wipe the oven floor with a damp cloth. Don't use cleaning chemicals on the floor.
Ask us for the current Al Fresco guarantee terms, and we will send them to you before you order.
