Homefires makes this high wind cowl to cap off a 150 mm single-wall chimney pipe. Both versions are stainless steel: choose the silver stainless finish, or black, which is stainless steel with a black finish. Each one weighs about 2 kg, as Homefires lists it. If your chimney uses insulated pipe, ask us first, because Homefires makes separate cowls for that.

What does it fit?
A 150 mm single-wall chimney pipe. Both colours on this page are Homefires' 150 high wind cowls for single-wall pipe, made to cap off the chimney pipe. Send us a photo of your chimney top if you are not sure what you have.
Does it fit insulated pipe?
This cowl is made for single-wall pipe. Homefires makes its high wind cowls for insulated pipe as separate products. If your chimney uses insulated pipe, ask us before you order, and we will help you find the right cowl.
What is the difference between black and silver?
Both are stainless steel. The silver one is plain stainless steel, and the black one is stainless steel with a black finish. Choose the one that suits your chimney and roof.
How heavy is it?
Homefires lists each 150 single-wall cowl at 2 kg.
What size is the cowl itself?
The 150 is the pipe size it fits, not a measurement of the cowl. Ask us if you need the cowl's own measurements before you order.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo of your chimney top and tell us your pipe size and type, and we will confirm the right cowl with you. We do not install, so arrange fitting with an independent installer.
