The Rock 350 is a compact 510 mm wide, which suits a smaller lounge or a cosy corner. One air control sets the fire, and the slam-lock door latches as you close it. Logs up to 35 cm fit the firebox, which has vermiculite inner plates, and the ash tray keeps the clean-up quick. The flue goes on top or at the rear.

Home after a long day: a good book, a mug of tea and the cat already asleep on the rug. The Rock 350 sits neatly on its tablet stand, one air control keeps the fire easy, and the city lights can carry on without you. The best seat in the flat is the one facing the flames.
The flue pipe, stone hearth plate, log basket, furniture and décor are not included. Have an independent installer confirm the hearth, flue route and clearances.

The 150 mm flue connects on top or at the rear. On top, its centre is 135 mm from the back; at the rear, 610 mm above the floor. Plan the route with an independent installer.
THE AIR
Fresh air from outside.
A 100 mm outside-air connection, its centre 240 mm above the floor, lets the fire take its air from outside. Ask your installer whether your room needs it.

What is included?
The Dovre Rock 350 stove in black on its tablet stand, with an ash tray. It has a single air control, a slam-lock door and an outside-air connection. Flue pipes, the optional heatshield and installation are not included.
Which fuel does it burn?
Wood. The firebox takes logs up to 35 cm long. Burn dry firewood and follow Dovre's manual.
How much heat does it give?
Dovre rates the Rock 350 at 7 kW nominal output, with 80% efficiency at nominal output. The South African distributor lists a maximum of 9 kW. The Output Calculator uses 8 kW, the middle of the two. Insulation, ceiling height and climate change how warm a room feels.
How do I run the fire?
With a single air control, so there is one setting to learn. The slam-lock door latches as you close it, and vermiculite inner plates line the firebox. An ash tray comes with the stove: let the ash cool fully before you empty it, and read the manual before the first fire.
Where does the flue connect?
On top or at the rear, through a 150 mm flue connection. For a top connection, the centre is 135 mm from the back of the stove. For a rear connection, the centre is 610 mm above the floor. Plan the route with an independent installer before you build.
Is the flue included?
No. Flue pipes are sold separately, because they depend on your room and roof. Send a photo, your room measurements and roof details for a product and flue configuration quote.
Can it draw air from outside?
Yes. The Rock 350 connects directly to outside air: a 100 mm collar with its centre 240 mm above the floor. Ask your installer whether your room needs outside air, and plan the duct with the manual.
How much space does it need?
The stove is 510 mm wide and 375 mm deep without the handle, and 745 mm high without the top collar. Dovre's minimum distances to combustible materials are 1,400 mm in front, 400 mm at the sides, 300 mm behind and 750 mm above, and 100 mm to non-combustible materials. Your installer applies the full list from the manual.
Is there a heatshield?
Yes, Dovre offers a heatshield for the Rock 350 as an option, sold separately. Ask us about it, and let your installer decide with the manual whether your setup needs one.
