MORE ABOUT THE UNIVERSAL 700

Open on both sides.
Warmth both ways.

Build the Universal 700 into a dividing wall and the fire belongs to both rooms. Logs burn in the basket grate, the pan catches the ash and the damper control helps you manage the fire. The mild-steel body gives convection and radiated heat, and a poker comes with it, so you are ready for the first cold evening.

Jetmaster Universal 700 alight in a stone-clad dividing wall on a sunny morning, a kitchen island seen through the fire and a couch in the lounge in front

ONE FIRE, TWO ROOMS

Breakfast on one side.
The couch on the other.

Morning light, coffee on the go and a fire glowing in the stone wall between the kitchen and the lounge. Look through the flames and you can see who is at the island. On a chilly winter weekend, the fire sits right in the middle of the house, and everyone gets a share.

The stone wall, firewood, furniture, kitchen and décor are not included. Plan the flue, the wall and the clearances for both faces with an independent installer.

A LITTLE PRACTICAL THINKING

Plan the wall around the fire.

THE HEAT

7 kW on wood.

The fireplace is listed at 7 kW on wood, with a heating area of 100 m². Our Output Calculator uses 7 kW to compare the fireplace with your room. The body gives convection and radiated heat.

BOTH FACES

A screen on one side.

We recommend a clip-on fire screen on one side while the fire burns. A screen is not part of this bundle, so ask us about one when you order.

THE FLUE

A square outlet, round options.

The gather ends in a 300 × 300 mm rectangular outlet. An adapter to a 350 mm round flue, round flue pipe in 1,200 mm sections and a rotating cowl are options on this page.

GOOD TO KNOW

Plan your setup.

Read the installation manual before you plan the wall and the flue.

Read the instruction manual

What is included?

This bundle is the Jetmaster Universal 700 double-sided fireplace in mild steel, with a basket grate and pan, damper control, a poker and the installation manual. The flue adapter, round flue pipe, rotating cowl and insulation blanket are options on this page, sold separately.

How much heat does it give?

The fireplace is listed at 7 kW on wood, with a heating area of 100 m². The 7 kW isn't marked as nominal or maximum. Our Output Calculator uses 7 kW when it compares the fireplace with your room. The body gives convection and radiated heat.

Which fuel can I burn?

Wood, in the basket grate. A log pan or a gas grate is an alternative to the basket grate, not an extra in this bundle: ask us if you want one of those versions instead.

Is it open on both sides?

Yes. The Universal 700 is a built-in, double-sided open fireplace, so the fire shows in both rooms. Plan the wall, the flue and the clearances for both faces with an independent installer.

Do I need a fire screen?

We recommend a clip-on fire screen on one side while the fire burns. A fire screen is not included in this bundle. Ask us about one when you order.

How big is the wood grate?

The wood grate is 645 mm wide and 490 mm deep, and its pan comes with it.

Is the flue included?

No. The gather ends in a 300 × 300 mm rectangular outlet. An adapter to a 350 mm round flue, round flue pipe in 1,200 mm sections, a rotating cowl and an insulation blanket are options on this page. Send a photo and measurements for a flue and configuration quote, and we will confirm the parts for your setup.

Where does the flue connect?

At the rectangular outlet on top of the gather, 300 × 300 mm. The gather rises 225 mm above the body. Have an independent installer plan the flue route, height and support for your building.

How much space do I need?

The body is 750 mm wide, 600 mm deep and 683 mm high, and the gather rises 225 mm above it. The total width with the frame is 850 mm. These are product dimensions, not a building opening. Ask us for the installation details, and have your installer check the actual unit and safe clearances before building.

What does the guarantee cover?

The firebox has a five-year Jetmaster guarantee against defects in material and workmanship, with normal domestic use and maintenance. Corrosion is not covered, and the basket grate and pan have their own, separate terms. Ask us for the full terms.

Can you help with my setup?

Yes. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent installer.
