This is the oven for long afternoons with a crowd. The refractory brick floor heats quickly and holds its heat for a crisp base, and the wide opening makes it easy to turn pizzas or slide in bread and oven dishes. Keep an eye on the thermometer above the door, and you know when the next round is ready.
MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME OUTSIDE
The fire is going, the table is set and the first pizza is already out. With room for three or four at a time, everyone eats together and the next round follows quickly.
Brick base, firewood, prep counter, table, chairs and food are not included.
A LITTLE PRACTICAL THINKING
THE FLOOR
The heavy-duty refractory brick floor heats quickly and holds its heat, so the oven turns out pizza after pizza with a crisp base.
THE CHAMBER
A 900 mm chamber and a 550 mm wide opening take three or four large pizzas. Close the door and the chimney choke to slow-bake bread and oven dishes.
THE HEAT
Allow 45 to 60 minutes to heat the oven. Bake pizza at 280–300 °C and keep below the 350 °C maximum.
MEASURE THE WHOLE SETUP
Plan the oven, chimney and support together.
The 750 mm height is the oven body; the 800 mm chimney fits on top. Plan a support that carries the 150 kg oven, with safe clearances, access and a chimney route checked by a competent installer.
GOOD TO KNOW
Read the instruction manual before you light the first fire.

The oven comes with its removable door, a stainless-steel chimney, a thermometer and oven utensils. The mobile stand and side table are optional, and firewood is not included.
Three or four large pizzas at a time. The big chamber and wide opening also suit bread and oven dishes for a crowd.
Choose Dried Ochre, Grey, Clay Art, Charcoal, Red or Midnight Black, or Hurricane or Midnight Black without tiles. Midnight Black with a black-and-white mosaic trim is shown. We confirm your preferred finish with your order.
No. Choose Oven Only, Oven + Stand, or Oven + Stand + Side Table. Without the stand, set the oven on a suitable non-combustible counter that fully supports its 150 kg.
The oven body is 1,090 mm wide, 1,030 mm deep and 750 mm high, without the 800 mm chimney. Inside, the chamber is 900 mm across and the door opening is 550 × 275 mm.
Burn a small fire for two hours and keep the oven under 200 °C before you cook for the first time. Keep the chimney choke and the door open while heating. Some moisture may escape from the base the first time, and fine expansion lines inside are normal.
Use dry hardwood. Never burn laminated, painted or treated wood, and do not heat the oven with charcoal. Allow 45–60 minutes to heat up; 280–300 °C is ideal for pizza, and 350 °C is the maximum.
Push the coals to the side or back with a coal rake and bake the pizzas directly on the floor. Keep a small fire going while the door is open so the oven does not cool. For slow baking without a flame, close the choke and the door to hold the heat.
Scrape spills off the floor with the coal rake, sweep out the ash with a brush and wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use chemicals on the oven floor. Wash the stainless-steel chimney with water, liquid soap and a soft scouring pad.
If you add the stand, lock the wheels before fitting the chimney or using the side table. Remove the chimney before moving the oven over uneven ground, and let it cool first. Do not lean on the table or load it with excess weight.
