A long, low line of flame.
The Flameline 810 is an indoor gas fireplace with no flue, so there is no chimney to build. It drops into a non-combustible housing and rests on its frame, leaving the two glass walls and a line of flame over black fire glass in view. Piezo spark ignition lights it, and an oxygen-depletion pilot looks after the room.

Late afternoon, golden light at the window and a line of flame flickering over black fire glass. Set into a long plinth in front of a dark wall, the Flameline brings a real fire into a modern lounge, with no chimney to build and no wood to carry in. Put your feet up and stay a while.
The concrete plinth bench, feature wall, sofa, coffee table and décor are not included. Plan the housing, ventilation and gas connection with a registered gas installer.

THE HOUSING
Built in, with air from below.
The fireplace drops into a 650 × 152 mm cut-out in a non-combustible housing. The housing needs two brick-sized ventilation openings below the unit, and the two supplied vent covers finish them neatly.
THE FLAME
No flue, no chimney, no wood.
As an indoor flueless gas fireplace, it needs no chimney. Piezo spark ignition lights it, and an oxygen-depletion pilot system is part of its safety setup. Black fire glass comes as standard; gold, blue or clear is available on request.

The frame rests on the edge of a 650 × 152 mm cut-out, and the body reaches 148 mm below the frame. These are product sizes, not a building plan: your registered gas installer checks the actual unit, the housing and the clearances.

What is included?
The Flameline 810 fireplace in the frame finish you choose, with one burner, two glass walls, decorative stones of black fire glass, two vent covers and the instruction manual. The housing, the gas supply pipework and the installation are not included.
Which frame finishes can I choose?
Brushed stainless steel or Midnight Mirror. Choose one finish on this page: each fireplace comes with one frame. The fireplace itself is made of stainless steel.
Which gas does it use?
LPG or natural gas. At full flame it uses up to 0.42 kg of LPG an hour, at an operating pressure of 2.8 kPa, or up to 0.72 m³ of natural gas an hour, at 2.0 kPa. Confirm your gas type with us before you order.
What size room is it for?
Chad-O-Chef suggests it for rooms up to 233 m³ (70 m²), depending on insulation, building materials and climate. It lists a maximum heating capacity of 5.7 kW.
Does it need a flue or chimney?
No. It is an indoor flueless gas fireplace, so there is no flue or chimney to build. Check the room and ventilation rules below before you choose where it goes.
Which rooms can it go in?
It must not go in a bedroom, bathroom, toilet or sauna. Without permanent ventilation, the room must be at least 105 m³. For a smaller room, your gas installer must design permanent ventilation.
How is it installed?
It drops into a 650 × 152 mm cut-out in a non-combustible housing and rests on its frame. The housing needs two brick-sized ventilation openings below the unit, which the two vent covers finish. A registered gas installer for your gas type must install and connect it.
Can it go against a wall?
Yes. The current Flameline 810, made since January 2022, can be installed against a wall when the clearances in the manual are kept, with at least 100 mm to a non-combustible wall behind.
How much clear space does it need?
To combustible materials, keep at least 300 mm at the sides (500 mm to curtains and fabric), 800 mm to the ceiling, 100 mm to the floor, carpet included, and 1,000 mm to combustible furniture in front. To non-combustible, heat-resistant materials, keep 100 mm at the sides. Your installer follows the full manual.
Can I choose another fire glass colour?
Black fire glass comes as standard. Chad-O-Chef offers gold, blue and clear fire glass on request, so ask us before you order.
What does the guarantee cover?
Chad-O-Chef gives a two-year guarantee on the fireplace, subject to its terms. Ask us for the full terms.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo and measurements for a product and configuration quote. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent, registered gas installer.
