What output does your room need?

Find the right amount of warmth

Enter the dimensions of the space you want to heat. Include any connected open-plan areas.

Maximum output: 3.5 kW.

Room dimensions (m)

For a sloped or open-truss ceiling, use the average height between the lowest and highest points.

Consider roof and wall insulation, glazing and draughts. If unsure, compare the standard and poor settings.

A room-sizing estimate, not a full heat-loss survey. Climate, large windows, draughts and open stairways can change the output needed. We can help confirm a suitable fireplace.

How is this estimated?

Room volume × insulation allowance: 35 W/m³ for very good insulation, 40 W/m³ for standard insulation or 50 W/m³ for poor insulation. Divide by 1,000 for kW. The comparison uses the listed heat output of this fireplace. Ask us to confirm its operating range for your room.

How delivery works

DeliveryHow it works

Because most of our products are huge, it’s difficult for us to keep stock of all of them. For this reason, we deliver a lot of our products directly from our suppliers and manufacturers, to offer you a great price and a fresh braai and a warm fireplace.

PRIORITY DELIVERYWe will make sure you are kept in the loop at every single step of the way and we will have your order processed as a priority. Tracking number included.

FREE DELIVERYLook, it’s free but we are unable to provide an exact time or take specific delivery requests as we are at the mercy of our suppliers. We still do our best to deliver as quickly as possible and in most cases we are much quicker than the stated turn around time.

WARMTH WITHOUT THE BUILDING WORK

Hang it up.
Settle in.

This flueless gas fireplace hangs on the wall, so there is no chimney to build and the floor stays clear. Light it with the piezo igniter and enjoy a real flame over ceramic ash or fire glass. It suits an apartment, a living room or an enclosed patio, and its shallow frame sits neatly against the wall.

A registered gas installer must confirm the room, wall, fixings and gas supply.

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME

Keep the floor open.

On a cold winter evening, pull the couch a little closer and let the flame do the rest. The slim frame hangs on the wall, so a small living room or apartment keeps its floor space.

Room, furniture and décor are not included. A registered gas installer must confirm the wall, gas supply and room ventilation.

A LITTLE PRACTICAL THINKING

Small fire.
Simple to live with.

THE FIT

A shallow profile on the wall.

It hangs on two wall plugs and stands only 130 mm off the wall, so the floor stays clear. The gas pipe can run neatly behind it.

THE FLAME

Light it with a click.

A piezo igniter lights the fire, and an oxygen depletion safety system (ODS) is built in. The flame burns over ceramic ash or fire glass, whichever you choose.

THE WARMTH

Made for smaller rooms.

With a 3.5 kW maximum output, it suits apartments, living rooms and enclosed patios. Use the Output Calculator to check your room.

Plan the room as well as the wall.

A room without permanent ventilation must be at least 65 m³; smaller rooms need suitable permanent ventilation. These are product dimensions, so have a registered gas installer confirm the wall, fixings, gas supply and room suitability.

What is included?

The fireplace and burner, decorative stones in your chosen finish and the instruction manual. The gas supply, cylinder and installation are separate.

Does it need a chimney?

No. It is a flueless gas fireplace. The room still needs suitable ventilation and the correct gas installation.

Is my room big enough?

A room without permanent ventilation must be at least 65 m³. Smaller rooms need suitable permanent ventilation. Have a registered gas installer confirm that the room is suitable before you order.

How much heat does it give?

The maximum output is 3.5 kW, and the Output Calculator uses 3.5 kW to compare with your room. Insulation, glazing and climate change how warm a room feels. At full flame it uses up to 0.26 kg of LPG an hour.

Which gas does it use?

Choose LPG or natural gas in the options above to match your supply. A registered gas installer must connect it.

How is it mounted?

It hangs on two wall plugs, with fixing holes 495 mm apart on the back. The wall must be non-combustible, such as brickwork. The gas pipe can run behind the fireplace. Have a registered gas installer confirm the wall, fixings and gas route.

Which finishes can I choose?

Choose a stainless-steel or matt black frame. For the fuel bed, choose ceramic ash or fire glass in the options above.

Can I use it indoors?

Yes. It is an indoor flueless gas fireplace with an oxygen depletion safety system (ODS). Keep the room ventilated as required, and have it installed by a registered gas installer.

What is the guarantee?

The fireplace has a two-year Chad-O-Chef quality guarantee. Terms and conditions apply; ask us for the full terms.

Can you help with my setup?

Send a photo and room measurements for a product quote and a visual preview. Arrange the gas installation with a registered gas installer; we do not provide installation services.
