The stainless-steel rim sits on the worktop and the grill body fits neatly below it. Three controls wait in their own covered well to the right of the grid, with piezo ignition and a flame-failure valve. Fold the flat cover right back while you cook, then close it over the cool grill for a clean, tidy counter.
A registered gas installer must fit it, in a heat-resistant worktop and a fire-retardant lined cabinet.

Chops on the grid, salads on the side and the plates within reach. The compact hob leaves more of the worktop free for preparing and sharing the meal, so the braaier stays part of the conversation.
Worktop, cabinet, furniture and food are not included. A registered gas installer must confirm the cabinet ventilation and gas connection.

THE COVER

The hinged stainless-steel cover hides the grill when it is cool and folds back through 180° while you cook. Keep it open while the grill is on or hot.
THE CLEAN-UP
Grids that go in the dishwasher.
The grids lift out to soak or go in the dishwasher once the grill is cool. The drip tray is removable, so plan easy access to it below the counter.

Cut a 725 × 430 mm opening in a heat-resistant, non-combustible worktop and allow for the 220 mm drop below it. These are product dimensions, not a full cabinet design; have a registered gas installer confirm the ventilation, clearances and drip-tray access.

What is included?
The three-burner Hob grill in your chosen steel grade, the cooking grid and hot rocks, a removable drip tray, the hinged flat cover with its separate control cover, and a stainless-steel cabinet vent cover. A cooking dome, the worktop, the cabinet and the gas installation are separate.
How big is the counter cut-out?
Cut a 725 × 430 mm opening in the worktop. The rim covers 775 × 450 mm on top, and the unit drops 220 mm below the worktop: 190 mm for the body and 30 mm for the drip tray. Leave access below to remove the tray.
How much room do the covers need?
The open main cover rises 450 mm above the worktop and folds back through 180°. The control cover opens through 115°. Keep the flat cover open while the grill is on or hot; it is not a cooking lid. A cooking dome is available separately.
How do I ventilate the cabinet?
Provide at least 300 cm² of free ventilation in the cabinet: 100 cm² per burner. The included 775 × 175 mm vent cover has fixing holes 96 mm apart, with centres 35 mm from the top. The face of the vent cover is not the same as its free area, so keep the openings clear.
What should the worktop and cabinet be made of?
Use a heat-resistant, non-combustible worktop and line the cabinet with fire-retardant material. Keep wooden cabinet parts at least 100 mm from the grill body. The steel below the worktop can reach about 300 °C, so the worktop and its fitting must suit high temperatures.
Can I use this braai indoors?
Yes. With its flame-failure valve, the Hob suits kitchens and closed patios as well as outdoor counters. Indoor installations need an extractor hood and suitable ventilation. Use a registered gas installer.
How much cooking space is there?
The removable grid is 519 × 350 mm, inside a 525 × 350 mm cooking surface opening. The grid lifts out to soak or go in the dishwasher once the grill is cool.
Which gas type does it use?
The HGG330 uses LP gas. Natural Gas models are available on request; ask us before ordering a Natural Gas unit. Do not convert the appliance yourself. On high, each burner uses up to 0.28 kg of LPG an hour: up to 0.84 kg an hour with all three lit.
What does coastal grade 316 mean?
Grade 316 stainless steel gives greater resistance to corrosion in coastal areas. Clean and dry the steel regularly.
Can I use wood or charcoal?
No. The Hob uses gas only. Do not burn wood or charcoal in it.
What is the guarantee?
The guarantee is three years on the working parts. Terms and conditions apply. Ask us for the full guarantee terms.
