Set the electroplated grid at one of three heights to suit the fire, hang a potjie from the potjie holder, and keep the first round warm in the warming drawer. When the fire is done, the ash pan, ash lid and ash drawer keep the clean-up tidy.

Late afternoon, wood crackling in the ember maker and steaks on the grid. Set on a counter, the table braai becomes the heart of the patio, with fresh coals ready whenever the next round calls for them.
The counter, brick wall, cast-iron pot, plants and tableware are not included.

THE GRID
Three heights to choose from.
Raise the electroplated grid for gentle heat or drop it for a hot sear, across three height settings. The grid lifters handle the hot grid, and the potjie holder takes a potjie for something slow.
THE SETUP
On a counter or in brick.
Use it on its own as a freestanding counter-top braai, or set it into an existing brick-built opening. Build around the actual unit, and leave room in front for the drawers to open.

What is included?
The table braai in black mild steel, with a height-adjustable electroplated grid, grid lifters, an ember maker, a potjie holder, an integrated ash pan, an ash lid, a removable ash drawer, a warming drawer and a poker.
Is it 1500 mm wide?
No. 1500 Combo is the Home Fires model name. The table braai itself is 820 mm wide, 620 mm deep and 530 mm high, or 570 mm high including the ember maker.
Which fuel can I use?
Wood or charcoal. Burn wood in the ember maker and rake the fresh coals under the grid as you cook.
How much cooking space is there?
The electroplated grid is 550 mm wide and 460 mm deep, with three height settings. Grid lifters come with it, and the potjie holder takes a potjie alongside.
Where can I use it?
On its own as a freestanding counter-top braai, or set into an existing brick-built opening. There's no published cut-out size or clearance for this model, so have an independent installer check the opening and the safe clearances for your space. Your installer must follow the installation manual that comes with the unit.
How much space do I need?
The body is 820 mm wide, 620 mm deep and 530 mm high, and the ember maker takes it to 570 mm. These are product dimensions, not a building opening. Leave room in front for the ash drawer and the warming drawer to open.
How do I deal with the ash?
Ash collects in the integrated ash pan, with an ash lid and a removable ash drawer. Let the ash cool fully, then take the drawer out to empty it. The instruction manual covers the first fire, ash disposal and care.
What does the guarantee cover?
The firebox has a 15-year Home Fires guarantee against faulty workmanship or material under normal use, with regular maintenance. The grid, ember maker, ash pan and other replaceable parts are not covered, nor are rust, adverse conditions, misuse, water leakage or installation damage. Ask us for the full terms.
