THE CORNER
Made for a corner.
The Panoramic stands in the corner of a room, against the walls, so a corner that does little today becomes the place to gather. Check your corner against the top and floor plate sizes in the table.

FRIDAY NIGHT IN
Pizza on the couch, flames in the corner.
Nobody felt like going out, so the pizza came to you. The gas fire glows in the corner, the wine is poured and the city lights twinkle outside. With no logs to carry in and no fire to build, the only job left is deciding who gets the last slice.
The couch, coffee table, rug, lamp, artwork, food and décor are not included. Plan the position, gas supply and ventilation with an independent gas installer.
BEFORE YOU CHOOSE THE CORNER
Plan the corner, the gas and the room.
THE GAS
Set up for LPG.
The coal-finish gas grate in this bundle runs on LPG and uses at most 0.56 kg of gas an hour. Home Fires also makes natural-gas versions. On natural gas? Ask us before you order.
THE ROOM
Vent-free still needs the right room.
A vent-free gas fire needs no flue, but the room size and ventilation rules still apply. Ask us for the requirements of this exact unit before you order, and have your gas installer check your room.

GOOD TO KNOW
Plan your setup.
Ask us for the room size and ventilation rules before you plan the installation.
What is included?
The HomeFires 600 Panoramic corner firebox, with its black mild-steel housing and façade, and the coal-finish gas grate, set up for LPG. The gas supply, the gas connection and the installation are not included.
Which gas does it use?
LPG. The coal-finish gas grate in this bundle (Home Fires grate model 600) is set up for LPG, and the gas type must match the data plate on the appliance. Home Fires also makes natural-gas versions: if your home runs on natural gas, ask us before you order.
How much gas does it use?
At full flame, at most 0.56 kg of gas an hour. Use the figure with your gas installer to plan your gas supply.
Does it need a flue or chimney?
No. It is an open, vent-free gas firebox, so there is no flue or chimney to build. Vent-free does not remove the room size and ventilation rules, so check those with us and your gas installer before you choose the room.
Where does it go?
In the corner of a room. The Panoramic is a freestanding corner unit that stands against the walls, so there is no chimney breast to build. Have your gas installer plan the position, the gas supply and the clearances.
How much space does it need?
The front is 890 mm wide at the top and 850 mm wide at the bottom, and the firebox is 750 mm high. At the side it reaches 640 mm deep. In plan, the top plate is 632 mm along its straight side and 632 mm across the diagonal, and the floor plate 600 mm and 600 mm. These are product dimensions: have your installer check the corner and safe clearances.
How big is the gas grate?
The coal-finish gas grate is 550 mm wide, 270 mm deep and 200 mm high. It sits inside the firebox and comes with it.
How much heat does it give?
We do not list a heat output for this exact unit, so the Output Calculator has no figure for it. Send us the size of your room, and we check the room size and ventilation needs with Home Fires before you order.
What safety features does it have?
Ask us before you order. We confirm the safety devices of this exact gas grate with Home Fires, and your gas installer checks the setup for your room.
What does the guarantee cover?
Ask us for the guarantee terms of this firebox and gas grate before you order.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo and your room measurements, and we will help with the product and configuration. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent gas installer.
