Stand the 700 on a counter as a table braai, or fit it into an existing brick-built opening. The full-length grid adjusts in height, the potjie arm is ready for a slow pot, and the integrated ash pan, ash lid and removable ash drawer take care of the ash. Simple, solid and ready for many good Sundays.
The 15-year guarantee covers the firebox, not the grid, ash pan or other replaceable parts, and it needs regular maintenance.

Tomatoes on the board, plates on the table and the braai on the counter, ready for the coals. As a countertop braai, the 700 keeps the cook close to everyone, from lighting the fire to the last round of chops.
The brick counters, table, chairs, plants and food are not included.

THE SETUP

Use the 700 on its own as a countertop braai, or fit it into an existing brick-built opening, so a brick braai you already have gets a grid, a potjie arm and an ash drawer.
THE ASH
The ash has its own drawer.
Ash collects in the integrated ash pan, and the removable ash drawer and ash lid come with it. Let the ash cool fully before you empty it.

The body is 700 mm wide, 480 mm deep and 430 mm high, without the potjie arm. These are body sizes, not a building opening, so have an independent installer check the fit, the support and safe clearances before you order or build.

What is included?
The 700 table braai in black mild steel, with a full-length, height-adjustable grid, a potjie arm, an integrated ash pan, an ash lid and a removable ash drawer. The counter, stand or brick surround it sits on is not included.
Does it have a warming drawer?
No. The drawer on the 700 is a removable ash drawer, not a warming drawer. Homefires fits a warming drawer only to some of its larger table braais.
Can it go into an existing brick braai?
Yes. The 700 can stand on its own as a countertop braai, or go into an existing brick-built opening. Measure the opening before you order, and have an independent installer check the fit and safe clearances.
Which fuel can I use?
Wood or charcoal. Set the grid higher or lower to suit the heat of the fire.
How much cooking space is there?
The full-length grid is 680 mm wide, and you can set it higher or lower over the coals. If you need the grid depth for your planning, ask us before you order.
How much space do I need?
The body is 700 mm wide, 480 mm deep and 430 mm high, and the braai weighs 40 kg. The potjie arm is not included in these sizes. These are product dimensions, not a building opening, so check your counter or brick opening, and the space around the fire, before you order.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers the firebox only: 15 years from purchase against faulty workmanship or material, under normal use. The grid, the ash pan and other replaceable parts are not covered, and the braai needs regular maintenance. Ask us for the full terms.
Can you help me plan it?
Yes. Send a photo and measurements of your counter or brick braai, and we will help you plan the setup. Arrange any building work with an independent installer.
