MORE ABOUT THE GLOBAL

Cast iron.
Warmth that spreads two ways.

The Global is a cast-iron, slow-combustion wood stove that stands on four cast-iron legs. It warms your room two ways: radiant heat from the stove itself and convection that carries warm air around the room. The 150 mm flue connects on top or at the rear, and the flue connector, its gasket and the screws come in the box.

Flue pipes, a cowl and an escutcheon plate are chosen separately under Complete your setup.

EVENINGS IN

A good book and a fire that keeps going.

The city lights come on, the thick socks come out and the Global settles into a steady glow. Pull up a chair, open the next chapter and let the cast iron do the rest. A slow-combustion wood fire suits evenings like this, when nobody is in a hurry to go anywhere.

The flue pipe, hearth plate, chair, lamp, furniture and décor are not included. Flue pipes, a cowl and an escutcheon plate are chosen under Complete your setup; plan the hearth and clearances with an independent installer.

A LITTLE PRACTICAL THINKING

Plan the flue, then pull up a chair.

THE HEAT

10 kW nominal.

The Global has a nominal heat output of 10 kW on wood, from Jetmaster's wood-log test, and a listed heating area of 120 m². Our Output Calculator uses 10 kW to compare the stove with your room.

THE FLUE

Top or rear.

The 150 mm flue connects on top or at the rear, and the connector with its gasket comes in the box. Add flue pipes and a cowl under Complete your setup, or send a photo and measurements for a flue quote.

THE FIRE

Wood, burned slowly.

The Global is a wood-burning, slow-combustion stove. Radiant heat comes straight from the cast iron, and convection carries warm air around the room, so the warmth reaches further than the hearth.

What is included?

The Jetmaster Global stove with four cast-iron legs, a flue connector with its fireproof gasket and fixing screws, two top baffle plates, a flue cover plate, a heat-resistant glove and a set of vermiculite or cast-iron lining plates. Flue pipes, a cowl and an escutcheon plate are chosen separately under Complete your setup, and the hearth and installation are not included.

Which fuel does it burn?

Wood. The Global is a wood-burning stove. Ask us before you plan to burn anything else.

How much heat does it give?

The Global has a nominal heat output of 10 kW on wood, from Jetmaster's wood-log test, and a listed heating area of 120 m². Our Output Calculator uses 10 kW to compare the stove with your room. Insulation, ceiling height and climate change how warm a room feels.

How does it heat the room?

Two ways: radiant heat from the cast-iron stove itself, and convection, which carries warm air around the room.

Where does the flue connect?

On top or at the rear, through a 150 mm nominal flue connection. The flue connector with its gasket and screws and a flue cover plate come in the box. Plan the route with an independent installer.

Is the flue included?

No. Choose flue pipes and a cowl under Complete your setup, or send a photo and measurements for a flue and configuration quote. A flue pipe is 1,200 mm long, for the 150 mm flue.

What lines the firebox?

A set of lining plates, in vermiculite or cast iron. Jetmaster's packing list allows either set, so ask us which one your stove has if it matters to you.

How much space does it need?

The Global is 590 mm wide and 394 mm deep, without the handle. The published heights and weights differ, so ask us to confirm them before you plan a tight fit. Your installer sets the hearth and clearances from the manual.

What does the guarantee cover?

The Global's firebox has a three-year Jetmaster guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship, in domestic use and with proper maintenance. Glass, wear parts in the flame path and corrosion are excluded, along with the other exclusions in the warranty statement. Ask us for the full terms.

Can you help with my setup?

Yes. Send a photo, your room measurements and roof details for a product and flue configuration quote. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent installer.
