Build the Universal 1050 into a dividing wall and the fire belongs to both rooms. Logs burn in the basket grate with its pan, and the damper control lets you manage the fire. The mild-steel body gives convection and radiated heat, and Jetmaster lists a heating area of 120 m² on wood. A poker comes with it, so you are ready for the first fire.

DINNER BY THE FIRE

The lounge on the other.

Set the table on one side and sink into the couch on the other, with the same fire between you. The flames show in both rooms, so whoever is still at the table and whoever has moved on to coffee share the glow. On a cold winter evening, the fire sits right in the middle of the house.

The stone wall, furniture, rug, tableware and décor are not included. Plan the flue, the wall and the clearances with an independent installer.

THE FIRE

Wood in the basket grate.

Burn wood in the basket grate, with its pan, and use the damper control to manage the fire. A log pan or a gas grate is an alternative to the basket grate, not an extra in this bundle.

The mild-steel body gives convection and radiated heat. Jetmaster lists 9 kW on wood and a heating area of 120 m², so send us your room sizes and we will check them with you.

THE FLUE

A rectangular outlet, round options.

The gather ends in a 500 × 350 mm rectangular outlet. An adapter to a 475 mm round flue, round flue pipe in 1,200 mm sections and a rotating cowl are options on this page.

How much heat does it give?

Jetmaster lists a heat output of 9 kW on wood and a heating area of 120 m². Our heat calculator uses that 9 kW figure when it compares the fireplace with your room. The body gives convection and radiated heat.

Which fuel can I burn?

Wood, in the basket grate. A log pan or a gas grate is an alternative to the basket grate, not an extra in this bundle: ask us if you want one of those versions instead.

How big is the basket grate?

The wood basket grate is 1,030 mm wide and 490 mm deep, and its pan comes with it.

Is it open on both sides?

Yes. The Universal 1050 is a built-in, double-sided fireplace, so the fire shows in both rooms. Plan the wall, the flue and the clearances for both faces with an independent installer.

Is the flue included?
