Braai over the coals.

The Nova 800 is a mild-steel firebox with its own smoke gather, made to build into your braai area. Light wood or charcoal, let it burn down to good coals and braai on the nickel-plated grill. Plan the 225 mm flue and the surround before the bricks go up, and the front frame finishes it neatly.

MAKE ROOM FOR THE FIRE

Lunch starts when the coals are ready.

A Sunday lunch that runs into the evening. Chops and boerewors over the coals, friends around the counter and one more round while the fire is going. Build it into the heart of your patio.

The brick wall, counter, cupboard, firewood and props are not included. Confirm the flue route, support and clearances with an independent installer.

THE FIRE

Wood or charcoal, your choice.

Light a wood fire or use charcoal, whichever suits the meal. Braai over the coals on the 785 × 420 mm nickel-plated grill, and keep the fire going for the next round.

THE FLUE

Plan the flue with the build.

The specified flue size is 225 mm (nominal), and the optional flue pipes come in 1,200 mm lengths. Plan the route, the cowl and the insulation with an independent installer before the building work starts.

What comes with the braai?

Is a door included?

Ask us to confirm the door before you order. We will check exactly what is supplied with this unit.

Wood or charcoal, whichever suits the meal.

How much cooking space is there?

The nickel-plated grill is 785 × 420 mm, inside a body 800 mm wide.

How much space should I allow?

The body is 800 mm wide, 450 mm deep and 615 mm high, and the front frame is 900 mm wide. The smoke gather above the body is 251 mm high and is measured separately, so confirm the overall height on the actual unit before you build the surround.

Are the flue, cowl and insulation included?

No. Flues, insulation and building materials are separate from the braai. Add the flue pipes, cowl, escutcheon plate and insulation blanket on this page, or send a photo and measurements for a configuration quote.

How do I plan the flue?

The specified flue size is 225 mm (nominal). The optional flue pipes come in 1,200 mm lengths, and the fitted length depends on how the joints overlap. Have an independent installer check the height, support, roof exit and any bends.

Can you help with my setup?

Yes. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent installer.

What does the warranty cover?

The braai box has a five-year Jetmaster warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, with normal domestic use and maintenance. Corrosion and discolouration are excluded. Accessories carry 12 months, and exclusions apply. Ask us for the full terms.
