Compact, with its own fresh coals.
The 800 Deluxe fits a smaller built-in space and still makes its own fresh coals: the ember maker sits on the right, beside the grid. Cold ash goes through a disposal trap into the ash drawer, and the top and bottom doors close it up once the braai is cool. Insulation material and touch-up paint come in the box.

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME OUTSIDE
A little room.
A proper braai.
A smaller patio can still have a fire at its heart. Fresh coals from the ember maker, a potjie on the hook and friends close enough to help with the tongs.
Surround, chimney, counters, furniture and food are not included. Have an independent installer confirm the support and installation.
BUILT FOR BRAAI DAYS
Fresh coals, tidy ash.
THE ASH
Ash has its own place.
An ash disposal trap and ash drawer make clearing cold ash simpler. Close the top and bottom doors once the braai is cool.
IN THE BOX
Tools and touch-ups included.
Grid lifters and a poker for the fire, plus insulation material and touch-up paint for the build. The instruction manual and guarantee certificate come with it.

What is included?
The 800 Deluxe braai with top and bottom doors, a 550 × 460 mm full-length cooking grid, grid lifters, an ember maker, an ash pan, an ash disposal trap and ash drawer, a potjie hook and a light fitting. A poker, insulation material, touch-up paint, the instruction manual and a guarantee certificate also come with it.
Which fuel can I use?
Wood or charcoal. Burn wood in the ember maker beside the grid and rake the coals across as you cook.
How much cooking space is there?
The full-length cooking grid is 550 × 460 mm, with the ember maker to its right. Grid lifters come with it, and the potjie hook takes a potjie.
Is the flue included?
No. Flue pipes, collars and cowl are sold separately. The flue outlet is 430 × 235 mm. Send a photo and measurements for a flue and configuration quote.
How much space do I need?
The body is 830 mm wide, 535 mm deep and 855 mm high, and the gather rises 320 mm above it. The front frame is 890 mm wide and 880 mm high. The lower door projects 455 mm when open. These are product dimensions, not a building opening. Have your installer check the actual unit and safe clearances before building.
Can it be installed indoors?
Yes. Homefires lists its built-in braais for indoor or outdoor installation. The braai needs suitable masonry support and a correctly designed chimney. Ask a competent installer to confirm the location, clearances and ventilation.
What does the guarantee cover?
Homefires guarantees the firebox for 15 years from the date of purchase against faulty workmanship or materials, including warping, when the fire is made in the ember maker or the ash pan. The grid, ember maker, ash pan and other replaceable parts are not covered, and neither is rust from missing maintenance, misuse or water leaks, or damage from incorrect installation. Keep the braai painted and maintained. The guarantee certificate in the box has the full terms.
How do I look after the finish?
Touch-up paint comes with the braai, so you can refresh small marks on the black mild steel. Keep the braai dry and empty cold ash regularly.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote; we can include a visual preview. Arrange installation with an independent installer.
