What output does your room need?

Find the right amount of warmth

Enter the dimensions of the space you want to heat. Include any connected open-plan areas.

Listed output: 11–14 kW. The calculator uses 12.5 kW, the middle of the range.

Room dimensions (m)

For a sloped or open-truss ceiling, use the average height between the lowest and highest points.

Consider roof and wall insulation, glazing and draughts. If unsure, compare the standard and poor settings.

A room-sizing estimate, not a full heat-loss survey. Climate, large windows, draughts and open stairways can change the output needed. We can help confirm a suitable fireplace.

How is this estimated?

Room volume × insulation allowance: 35 W/m³ for very good insulation, 40 W/m³ for standard insulation or 50 W/m³ for poor insulation. Divide by 1,000 for kW. The comparison uses the listed heat output of this fireplace. Ask us to confirm its operating range for your room.

How delivery works

DeliveryHow it works

Because most of our products are huge, it’s difficult for us to keep stock of all of them. For this reason, we deliver a lot of our products directly from our suppliers and manufacturers, to offer you a great price and a fresh braai and a warm fireplace.

PRIORITY DELIVERYWe will make sure you are kept in the loop at every single step of the way and we will have your order processed as a priority. Tracking number included.

FREE DELIVERYLook, it’s free but we are unable to provide an exact time or take specific delivery requests as we are at the mercy of our suppliers. We still do our best to deliver as quickly as possible and in most cases we are much quicker than the stated turn around time.

THE FLAMM 750

A compact fire.
Wood close at hand.

A single glass door keeps the wood fire in view from your seat. Behind it, a fully welded 5 mm steel firebox with firebrick lining holds the fire, and the integral log base keeps a few dry logs within reach. The top collar takes a nominal 150 mm flue, and we quote the flue kit to suit your building.

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME

A place to settle in.

Keep a few logs below the fire and a comfortable seat nearby. On a cold winter afternoon, a good book, a warm mug and the glow behind the glass are all you need.

Hearth, flue pipe, firewood, furniture and décor are not included. Have an accredited installer confirm the flue, ventilation and clearances for the actual unit.

BUILT FOR SLOWER EVENINGS

More warmth.
A clear view of the fire.

THE FIREBOX

Steel at its core.

The fully welded 5 mm steel firebox has firebrick lining and a black high-heat finish.

THE LOG BASE

Wood close at hand.

The integral log base keeps a few dry logs within reach of the door, so the next log is never far away.

THE EVERYDAY

One door. A clear view.

Keep the glass door closed during normal use and burn dry, seasoned wood. The single door keeps loading and the view on one side.

What is included?

The FLAMM 750 fireplace with its glass door, firebrick-lined firebox and integral log base. The flue kit, hearth and installation are not included. Flue kits are quoted to suit your building.

How much heat does it give?

The FLAMM 750 is listed at 11–14 kW. Room size, insulation and ceiling height affect the warmth you feel. Send us your room size if you need help choosing.

Which wood should I use?

Burn dry, seasoned wood. Keep the glass door closed during normal use, and store a few dry logs in the base so they stay close at hand.

How much space does it take?

The fireplace is 750 mm wide and 480 mm deep. It stands 785 mm high: a 530.5 mm firebox on a 254.5 mm log base. These are product dimensions, not the full space needed for safe use.

Which flue does it use?

The top connection takes a nominal 150 mm flue. Flue kits are sold separately and quoted to suit your building. Have the full route specified for your room.

How much clear space is needed?

Use a non-combustible hearth and keep the fireplace well away from anything that can burn. Follow the FLAMM installation instructions for the hearth and clearances, and have an accredited installer confirm them before you build.

Does the room need fresh air?

Yes. Plan permanent combustion air for the room together with the hearth and flue. Your installer confirms what the room and the fireplace need.

Is this the FLAMM 950?

No. The 750 has its own body, base and output figures. Plan with the sizes on this page, not the FLAMM 950 dimensions.

Can you help plan my setup?

Yes. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote. Arrange installation with an accredited installer.
