Good questions
Before you fire it up.
Is a braai stand a complete braai?
The term can mean either a complete freestanding braai or a stand-only accessory. This page shows cooking units; check the included parts for the exact product.
Which freestanding braai brands do you stock?
HomeFires, Jetmaster, Weber, Outback and Kamado Joe, with models from Chad-O-Chef too. Every braai comes with the maker’s warranty, and we help you after you buy.
Can I move any freestanding braai around?
Not necessarily. Check the weight, base, wheels, connections and manufacturer’s movement instructions. Freestanding is a fitting format, not a promise of portability.
Are gas and charcoal options available?
Yes. Use the fuel filters to see gas, wood-and-charcoal or dual-fuel models. Check the permitted fuel for the exact product.
Can I burn logs in a kettle or kamado?
Only if the manufacturer permits it for that model. Do not assume a charcoal braai is designed for a wood fire.
What does dual fuel mean here?
It describes models offering gas and a specified solid-fuel cooking option. Check whether that model uses charcoal or briquettes and what equipment is included.
How much patio space do I need?
Measure the complete unit, including shelves and lid access, and allow the clearances stated in the manufacturer’s instructions.
Are the stand and gas equipment included?
Included items vary with the model and configuration. Check the base, gas connection equipment and accessories listed on the product page.
Do you deliver freestanding braais across South Africa?
Yes. Confirm delivery cost, availability, timing and receiving arrangements for your chosen product and address before ordering. Most freestanding braais are made or ordered for you, so delivery usually takes 10–20 working days.
Can I return a braai?
Yes. If a braai does not suit you, you can return it within 14 days. The Terms give the conditions.
