Is the braai grid included?

Yes. This package includes the fire pit, ashtray and adjustable round braai grid. You do not need to add a second grid. Wheels and a weather cover are sold separately.

How much space does it need?

The pit is 900 mm across the outside and 470 mm high. Its inner opening is 780 mm across. Allow extra space for the handles and adjustable grid, and keep the surrounding area clear of anything that can catch fire. These are product dimensions, not clearance measurements.

Can I use wood and charcoal?

Yes. Use dry firewood or charcoal outdoors. Let wood burn down to cooking coals before braaiing. Do not burn treated or painted timber, household waste or liquid fuels.

Where should I place it?

Use a stable, level, non-combustible surface in an open outdoor space. Keep it away from roofs, low branches, furniture and other materials that can catch fire. Do not place it directly on timber decking or grass. Keep children and pets away from hot surfaces.

Can I move it around?

The pit weighs 75 kg and has removable handles. Plan the move with enough help and let the unit cool fully first. Wheels are not included in this package.

How do I clean and store it?

Let the pit, grid and ash cool fully before cleaning. Put cold ash in a suitable metal container. Clean the grid and dry it before storage. Protect the pit from rain when it is cool; ask us about a suitable cover.

Can I add wheels or a different grid?

Ask us about compatible wheels, a cover or the separate 304 stainless steel grid. We can confirm the option and quote for your setup. These extras are not included in this package.
