EVENINGS IN
Two chairs, one fire, nowhere to be.
The city lights come on, the logs catch in the basket grate and the armchairs are turned to face the fire. Pour something red, pull the throw over your knees and let the evening go slowly. With the Hex 800 alight, the fire is the heart of the room.
The floor plate, concrete floor, armchairs, rug, side table, log rack, firewood and décor are not included. Plan the flue, floor protection and clearances with an independent installer.
A LITTLE PRACTICAL THINKING
Plan the fire, the flue and the room.
THE FIRE
Logs in the basket.
This bundle comes with Jetmaster's 500 basket grate and pan, for wood or charcoal. A log pan and a deluxe gas grate are other grate options: ask us if you would rather have one.
THE FLUE

The supplied hex flue is 4,200 mm long, with a rotating cowl. That is the length in the bundle, not your installed height: your installer plans the route, and an extra flue pipe with collar is an add-on on this page.

GOOD TO KNOW
Plan your setup.
Read the installation manual before you plan the spot, the flue and the roof.
What is included?
The Jetmaster Hex 800 complete fireplace (maker code 40080524): the mild-steel body, the 500 basket grate and pan, a 4.2 m hex flue, an escutcheon plate and a rotating cowl. A poker and the installation manual with operating instructions come with it. An extra flue pipe with collar and the Hex 800 firescreen are add-ons on this page, sold separately.
Which fuel can I use?
Wood or charcoal, in the basket grate and pan. This is the wood package: the gas grate is a separate option.
How much heat does it give?
The Hex 800 gives convection and radiated heat. The wood heating area is listed at 68 m². Treat that as a guide, not a promise for every room, and tell us the size of your room before you order.
Is the flue included?
Yes. The bundle includes a 4.2 m hex flue and a rotating cowl. That is the supplied length, not the installed height: a higher roof can need more pipe, and an extra flue pipe with collar is an add-on on this page. Ask us whether a weathering collar comes with it. Send a photo and measurements for a flue and configuration quote.
Where does the flue connect?
At the short flue collar on top of the body, 1,123 mm above the base. The hex flue measures 203 mm corner to corner and 177 mm flat to flat, with 100 mm flat sides.
How much space do I need?
The body is 806 mm wide, 706 mm deep and 1,123 mm high to the top of the flue collar. These are product dimensions. Have your installer check the actual unit, the floor and safe clearances before you choose the spot.
Can I choose another grate?
A log pan and a deluxe gas grate are also available for the Hex 800. This bundle comes with the basket grate and pan. Ask us if you would rather have another grate.
Is there a firescreen?
Yes, as an add-on: the Jetmaster Hex 800 firescreen is an option on this page, sold separately.
What does the guarantee cover?
Ask us to confirm the current Jetmaster guarantee terms for the Hex 800 before you order.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote. Arrange installation with an independent installer.
