A real fire, set neatly into the wall.
The Dovre 2100 is a cast-iron insert that builds into your wall, with one glass door facing the room. It burns wood and lignite on its grate (coal only in the optional coal basket), takes logs up to 500 mm long and drops the ash into an ash box. The air-wash system works on the glass, and the door can be hung to open the way that suits your room.

EVENINGS BY THE FIRE
Coffee, a blanket and a fire to talk by.
When the evening turns cold, put on the coffee, pull the blanket over your knees and let the fire do the rest. A few logs behind the glass and the room settles into the kind of quiet that makes a long conversation easy.
The chimney breast, mantel, hearth, couch, coffee table, décor and firewood are not included. Plan the opening, flue and clearances with an independent installer.

THE FUEL
Long logs, less sawing.
The firebox takes logs up to 500 mm long, and it also burns lignite or coal. The ash drops into the ash box, ready to empty once it is cold.

The insert, the surround and the convection box each have their own sizes. Decide on the configuration with your installer before the opening is built.

Plan the insert, surround and flue together.
The insert, the surround and the convection box have different sizes, and none of them is a masonry opening. Have an independent installer choose the configuration and confirm the opening, flue and clearances.

What is included?
The Dovre 2100 single-sided cast-iron insert in black, with a grate, an ash box and an air-wash system. Flue pipes, accessories and installation are not included. A coal basket and frame sets are optional.
Are the surround and convection box included?
The photo and our drawing show the insert with a surround and a convection box. Frame sets are optional, and the configuration can differ, so tell us which setup you want and we will confirm what comes with your order before you build the opening.
Which fuel does it burn?
Dovre recommends wood, lignite and coal. The firebox takes logs up to 500 mm long. Burn coal only in the coal basket, an optional extra.
How much heat does it give?
Dovre gives a nominal output of 10 kW and a maximum of 12 kW, with an efficiency of 78%. Our Output Calculator uses 11 kW, the middle of the two, to compare the fireplace with your room.
Where does the flue connect?
On top, through a nominal 200 mm connection whose centre is 170 mm from the rear of the insert. Dovre lists an adaptor with a 186 mm small end and a 205 mm large end for the connection. Ask us which adaptor and flue pipes your setup needs.
Is the flue included?
No. Flue pipes and accessories are not included, because they depend on your room and roof. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote.
How much space does it need?
The insert is 670 mm wide, 690 mm high with the top collar (645 mm below it) and 410 mm deep, or 440 mm with the door handle. The surround is 815 × 775 mm and 20 mm thick. The convection box is 742 mm high and 450 mm deep. None of these is a masonry opening: your installer sets the opening for the configuration you choose.
Which way does the door open?
The door-opening direction can be changed, so the door can swing the way that suits your room. Tell us which side you need when you order.
How heavy is it?
The insert weighs 130 kg on its own. Plan how it will be carried in and supported.
What does the guarantee cover?
The local distributor gives a limited warranty of five years on the main stove body, and one year on electrical components where there are any. Ask us for the full terms.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo, your room measurements and roof details for a product and flue configuration quote. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent installer.
