The 760WD V2 has a glass front door for watching the flames and a side door for loading wood, so the next log goes in from the side. It takes logs up to 55 cm long, which means less sawing. An air wash looks after the glass, and the ash tray sits behind its own door at the bottom for a tidy clean-up.

WHEN THE RAIN SETS IN

A warm fire inside.
Rain on the windows, a pot of tea and the fire going since lunch. Slip another log in through the side door, pick up the knitting again and let the afternoon take its time. The dog has already found the warmest spot.
The flue pipe, slate hearth, log basket, furniture and décor are not included. Have an independent installer confirm the hearth, flue route and clearances.

The 150 mm flue connects at the top or the rear, and a 100 mm direct outside-air connection can bring the fire its air from outside. Plan both with an independent installer.

What is included?
The Dovre 760WD V2 stove in black, with the glass front door, the side door for loading wood, the handle, an ash tray and the bottom ash tray door. Chimney flue pipes and accessories are not included, and neither are the hearth plate or the installation.
Which fuel does it burn?
Wood. The stove takes logs up to 55 cm long, and the side door makes loading them easy. Burn dry firewood and follow the manual supplied with the stove.
How much heat does it give?
Ask us for the heat output before you plan your room. The figures for this model differ, so we confirm the South African version with the supplier before we give you a number.
Why a side door?
The side door lets you load wood from the side of the stove, which is handy with long logs. The front glass door stays the window on the fire.
Will the glass stay clean?
The front glass door has an air wash that helps keep the glass clear, so you keep your view of the flames. Dry firewood helps too.
Where does the flue connect?
At the top or the rear, through a 150 mm flue connection. For a rear connection, the centre is 645 mm above the floor. Plan the route with an independent installer before you build.
Is the flue included?
No. Chimney flue pipes and accessories are not included, because they depend on your room and roof. Send a photo, your room measurements and roof details for a product and flue configuration quote.
Can it draw air from outside?
Yes. It has a direct outside-air connection, 100 mm in diameter, with its centre 205 mm above the floor. Ask your installer whether your room needs outside air, and plan the duct with the manual.
How much space does it need?
The stove is 780 mm wide and 800 mm high, and its body sits 230 mm above the floor on its legs. Ask us to confirm the depth and the weight before you plan a tight space or a suspended floor. Place it on a suitable hearth, and let your installer confirm the clearances in the manual.
What does the guarantee cover?
Dovre gives a 5-year limited warranty on the main stove body in South Africa. The supplier's terms apply, so ask us for the full terms.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo, your room measurements and roof details for a product and flue configuration quote. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent installer.
