The Saga 107 is a compact cast-iron stove with little windows in its side, so the glow reaches more of the room. One air control sets the fire, and logs up to 35 cm fit the firebox, which is lined with pressed vermiculite. The flue goes on top or at the rear, and an outside-air connection lets the fire draw its air from outside.

STORIES BY THE FIRE
One more story before supper.
Winter afternoons were made for this. A favourite picture book, two grandchildren close by and the fire glowing through the little side windows. The Saga 107 is small, but it gathers the whole family into one warm room, and nobody is in a hurry to leave.
The flue pipe, stone hearth plate, log basket, furniture and décor are not included. Have an independent installer confirm the hearth, flue route and clearances.

THE CONNECTIONS
Top or rear: you choose.
The 125 mm flue connects on top or at the rear. On top, its centre is 165 mm from the back; at the rear, 610 mm above the floor. Plan the route with an independent installer.
THE AIR
Fresh air from outside.
A 100 mm outside-air connection, its centre 190 mm above the floor, lets the fire take its air from outside. Ask your installer whether your room needs it.

What is included?
The Dovre Saga 107 stove in black, with its door, side windows and a detachable handle. Flue pipes, the optional short legs and installation are not included.
Which fuel does it burn?
Wood. The firebox takes logs up to 35 cm long. Burn dry firewood and follow Dovre's manual.
How much heat does it give?
Ask us for the heat output before you plan your room. The published figures for this model differ, so we confirm the South African figure with the supplier before we give you a number. Dovre gives an efficiency of 75%.
Is there an ash tray?
No, the Saga 107 has no ash tray. Let the ash cool fully before you clear it, and follow the cleaning steps in Dovre's manual.
Where does the flue connect?
On top or at the rear, through a 125 mm flue connection. On top, the centre is 165 mm from the back of the stove. At the rear, the centre is 610 mm above the floor on the standard legs. Plan the route with an independent installer.
Is the flue included?
No. Flue pipes are sold separately, because they depend on your room and roof. Send a photo, your room measurements and roof details for a product and flue configuration quote.
Can it draw air from outside?
Yes. The Saga 107 has a direct outside-air connection: a 100 mm collar with its centre 190 mm above the floor on the standard legs. Ask your installer whether your room needs outside air, and plan the duct with the manual.
How much space does it need?
The body is 360 mm wide without the handle, which sits 55 mm beyond the side, and it stands 730 mm high on its standard legs, without the top collar. It weighs 100 kg. Ask us to confirm the overall width and depth before you plan a tight fit, and have your installer set the hearth and clearances from Dovre's manual.
Can it stand lower?
Yes, with Dovre's optional short legs, sold separately. On short legs, the stove is 667 mm high without the top collar, the rear flue centre is 547 mm above the floor and the outside-air centre 126 mm. Ask us about them when you order.
What does the guarantee cover?
Ask us for the current guarantee terms before you order. We confirm them with the South African supplier for this model.
