A heavy steel firebox.
The I1000 puts the fire on show behind glass 827 mm wide. Behind it sits a fully welded 5 mm steel firebox with a firebrick lining, finished in metallic black high-heat paint. Feed it hardwood, keep the next logs in the long base below, and empty the ash pan once the fire is out and the ash is cold.

Plan the stove, floor protector and flue together.
The I1000 stands 955 mm to the top of the body; the outlet and the flue go above that. The log base is 1,200 mm wide, wider than the 1,000 mm body. Keep 800 mm to combustible walls and have an independent installer check the site.

- The 955 ends at the top of the body. The outlet and the flue go above it.
- In a suitable recess, leave a free air gap of 200 at the sides and top and 50 at the rear.
- That gap is for airflow only and does not replace the 800 to combustible walls.

What is included?
The FLAMM I1000 closed combustion fireplace in metallic black, with its log base and the ash pan. Chimney flue pipes, accessories and installation are not included: we quote the flue parts for your setup.
Which fuel does it burn?
Wood. It's designed for hardwood, so plan your woodpile around it. The long log base under the firebox keeps the next logs close at hand.
How much heat does it give?
14 kW nominal and up to 17 kW maximum heat output, with a published heating volume of 400 m³. The Output Calculator uses 15.5 kW, the middle of the two. Insulation, ceiling height and climate change how warm a room feels.
How big is the glass?
The glass is 827 mm wide and 374 mm high, so the fire is the centre of the room. Keep household furnishings 1,000 mm from the fireplace.
Where does the flue connect?
At the top. The outlet has an internal diameter of 202 mm and takes a 200 mm nominal flue. Have an independent installer plan the flue route, height and support for your building.
Is the flue included?
No. Chimney flue pipes and accessories are sold separately, because they depend on your room and roof. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote, and we will help you choose the right parts.
How much space does it need?
The body is 1,000 mm wide, 450 mm deep and 600 mm high. On its log base, which is 1,200 mm wide and 325 mm high, it stands 955 mm to the top of the body, before the outlet and the flue. Keep at least 800 mm to combustible walls, 1,200 mm to a combustible ceiling and 1,000 mm to household furnishings. Your installer applies the full manual and local requirements.
What does it need underneath?
Use a floor protector under the fireplace that reaches 400 mm in front of it and 200 mm beyond the sides and the rear. The fireplace weighs 206 kg, so have your installer check that the floor can carry it.
Can it stand in a recess?
In a suitable recess, leave a free air gap of 200 mm at the sides and top and 50 mm at the rear. That gap is for airflow only and does not replace the 800 mm clearance to combustible walls. Plan it with your independent installer.
How is it made?
The firebox is fully welded from 5 mm steel and has a firebrick lining. The finish is a metallic black high-heat paint.
What does the guarantee cover?
The main stove body has an extended five-year limited Home Fires warranty, for new units bought from Home Fires or an authorised retailer. Register it within 30 days, or the term drops to 12 months. It covers the first owner at the first installation, with proof of purchase and professional installation records. Wear parts, glass, linings, seals and finishes are excluded. Ask us for the full terms.
