Home Fires made this one for camping. The stainless-steel body folds up neatly to 800 mm wide, 400 mm high and 330 mm deep, so it packs in with the rest of the kit. At camp, fold out the three work surfaces, feed wood or charcoal into the ember maker and rake fresh coals across with the poker. Then add the grid of your choice.
The grid in the photos is sold separately. Choose a grid or spit parts as options.

WHERE THE TAR ENDS

The tent is up, the chairs are out and the boerewors is on. Fold out the Camp Braai, open the work surfaces and let the ember maker keep fresh coals coming while everyone settles in. Somewhere out there, the bush is doing its thing. You are doing yours.
The braai grid, tongs, food, camp chair, tent and vehicle are not included. Grids are sold separately.

THE FIRE
Fresh coals on tap.
Burn wood or charcoal in the ember maker and rake fresh coals under your grid with the poker as the braai goes on. No need to start the fire over.
THE GRID
Pick your grid.
Grids are sold separately, so you choose: a flat braai grid, a rotating grid basket, or the spit motor and bracket with the spit arm and spikes for a slow roast.

Is a grid included?
No. The grid in the photos is sold separately. Choose a flat braai grid or a rotating grid basket, or add the spit motor and bracket with the spit arm and spikes for a slow roast.

How big is it at camp?
The Camp Braai is listed at 1,635 × 785 × 325 mm (W × H × D). Leave room around it for the cook and keep it clear of tents, chairs, dry grass and anything else that can burn.
Which fuel can I use?
Wood or charcoal. Burn it in the ember maker and rake fresh coals under the grid with the poker as you cook.
What is it made of?
The body is stainless steel, in a black and silver finish as listed.
What does the guarantee cover?
The firebox has a 15-year Home Fires guarantee against faulty workmanship or material, under normal use and with regular maintenance. Grids, the ember maker, ash pans and other replaceable parts are excluded, and so is damage from rust in adverse conditions, misuse or water leakage. Ask us for the full terms.
Can you help me choose the options?
Yes. Tell us how you like to braai at camp and we will help you choose the grid and the spit parts. Send us a photo of your trailer or boot space if you want us to check the folded size with you.
