THE STOVE AND ITS ESSENTIALS

Closed combustion.
Built into the wall.

A mild-steel closed-combustion stove with a door and a large viewing window, made to be built in. Vermiculite inner boards line the firebox, the cast grid holds the fire and the ash pan comes out for emptying. Close the door, settle in and watch the flames through the window on a cold winter's night.

STORY TIME BY THE FIRE

The warmest seat in the house.

Late afternoon light, a favourite book and a fire glowing behind the glass. The Rigel sits neatly in the wall, so the room stays open and calm while the warmth spreads. Pull the blanket over and turn one more page.

The chimney breast, hearth, logs, furniture and decor are not included. Confirm the flue, hearth and clearances with an independent installer.

MADE FOR WINTER EVENINGS

Warmth you can watch.

THE VIEW

Keep the flames in sight.

The door has a large viewing window, so the flames stay part of the evening while the fire burns in a closed firebox.

THE HEAT

Start with the room you want to heat.

The heat output is listed as 7.6 kW. The Output Calculator on this page uses that figure to compare the stove with your room.

THE FLUE

Plan the flue with the build.

The stove takes a 150 mm round flue (nominal size), and the optional flue pipes come in 1,200 mm lengths. Plan the route and the roof exit with an independent installer before the building work starts.
