The 425 GM is a freestanding cast-iron stove that burns wood, coal or lignite briquettes, so you can use the fuel you have on hand. Watch the flames through the full-glass door, set the adjustable legs to the height you like, and take the flue out of the top or the back. A small ash shovel and an ash-pan tool come with it for the clean-up.

THE HEART OF THE KITCHEN

Light the fire early, put the kettle on and let the kitchen fill with warmth while the dough rises. There is something about a real fire on a cold morning that brings everyone to the table, whether they came for the heat or for the first rolls of the day.
The flue pipe, hearth plate, firewood, table, chairs and kitchen items are not included. Plan the flue, hearth and clearances with an independent installer.

THE FLUE
Out the top or out the back.
The smoke outlet can sit on top or at the rear, and a connection collar with brackets comes with the stove. Choose the flue route with your installer before you order the pipes.
THE LEGS
Set it at the right height.
The legs adjust, so you can choose the stove height. The rear flue height moves with them, so settle the leg height before the flue is planned.

Plan the stove, hearth and flue together.
The height changes with the adjustable legs, from 765 to 845 mm, and the rear flue centre moves with it. These are the stove's own sizes, not a hearth size, so have your installer confirm the hearth, flue and clearances.

What is included?

Which fuel does it burn?
Wood, coal or lignite briquettes. Wood logs of 400 mm fit the firebox. Use dry wood and follow the manual for each fuel.

Where does the flue connect?
On top or at the rear, through a nominal 150 mm connection. On top, the centre is 150 mm from the rear edge. At the rear, the centre is 640 mm above the floor with the legs at their lowest and 720 mm at their highest. Ask us to confirm the exact spigot size and any adaptor before you order flue parts.
Is the flue included?
No. Chimney flue pipes and accessories are not included, because they depend on your room and roof. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote.
How much space does it need?
The stove is 550 mm wide and 445 mm deep as listed (the side drawing marks a 440 mm span). It stands 765 mm high with the legs at their lowest and 845 mm at their highest. Leave at least 400 mm to adjacent combustible material and 200 mm to a combustible wall behind it. Your installer must follow the installation manual that comes with the unit. Your installer confirms the hearth and clearances.
Can I see the fire?
Yes. The 425 GM has a full-glass door and Dovre Airwash, so the fire stays in view.
What does the guarantee cover?
The main stove body has a five-year limited warranty from the local distributor, and electrical components have one year where there are any. Ask us for the full terms.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo, your room measurements and roof details for a product and flue configuration quote. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent installer.
