Small footprint.
A proper wood fire.
The 525CB is a freestanding stove for wood, with up to 10 kW of heat at its maximum, so a cold evening at home gets a proper fire. Take the flue out of the top or the back, whichever suits your room, and Dovre lists outside air as inclusive. It stands on legs in a black finish and weighs 120 kg, so plan a solid hearth for it.

EVENINGS AT HOME
The baby's asleep.
The fire's still going.
Supper is done, the little one has finally dozed off and the lounge is all yours. Keep your voices low and let the 525CB do the work, its flames glowing behind the glass while the evening slows right down. This is what winter at home should feel like.
The flue pipe, hearth plate, furniture and décor are not included. Plan the flue, hearth and clearances with an independent installer.
A LITTLE PRACTICAL THINKING
Plan the flue, then light the fire.
THE FLUE
Out the top or out the back.
The 150 mm nominal flue connects on top, its centre 180 mm from the rear, or at the rear, its centre 625 mm above the floor. Choose the route with your installer before you order pipes.
THE AIR
Air from outside.
Dovre's specifications list outside air as inclusive for the 525CB. Ask your installer whether your room needs it, and plan the connection with Dovre's manual.

GOOD TO KNOW
Plan your setup.
Read your instruction manual before you plan the installation.
What is included?
The Dovre 525CB freestanding wood stove in black, on its standard legs. Flue pipes, accessories and installation are not included: we quote the flue parts for your setup.
Which fuel does it burn?
Wood. Dovre lists wood as the fuel for the 525CB, so it is not a multi-fuel stove. Burn dry firewood and follow Dovre's manual.
How much heat does it give?
The local distributor gives a maximum heat output of 10 kW. Our Output Calculator uses 10 kW to compare the stove with your room. The published nominal figures differ, so ask us if you need one: we confirm it with the supplier.
Where does the flue connect?
On top or at the rear, through a 150 mm nominal connection. On top, the centre is 180 mm from the rear. At the rear, the centre is 625 mm above the floor on the standard legs. Have an independent installer plan the route.
Is the flue included?
No. Flue pipes and accessories are sold separately, because they depend on your room and roof. Send a photo and measurements for a product and flue configuration quote.
Can it draw air from outside?
Dovre's specifications list outside air as inclusive for the 525CB. A lower connection at the back has its centre 295 mm above the floor. Your installer confirms the outside-air connection from Dovre's manual and whether your room needs it.
How much space does it need?
The stove is 525 mm wide, 475 mm deep and 750 mm high on its standard legs, and it weighs 120 kg. The feet stand 490 mm apart, outside to outside, and 320 mm from front to back. These are the stove's own sizes: your installer sets the hearth and clearances from Dovre's manual.
What does the guarantee cover?
The local distributor gives a five-year limited warranty on the main body, and one year on electrical components where there are any. Ask us for the full terms.
Can you help with my setup?
Yes. Send a photo, your room measurements and roof details for a product and flue configuration quote. We do not install, so arrange installation with an independent installer.
