Coals, potjie and prep space.
All built in.

Get the charcoal going in the charcoal starter, then spread the coals on the charcoal tray under the nickel-plated grid. Swing the suspension arm over the fire when a potjie is on the menu. The firebox chamber and smoke gather are 304 grade stainless steel, the slide-in door system has a prep table, and the light fitting keeps things going after dark.

MORNING ON THE DECK

Snoek on the coals, nowhere to be.

Fresh snoek over glowing coals, lemons and a salad waiting on the counter, and the whole morning ahead. Keep the next batch of coals going in the charcoal starter and braai at your own pace.

The stone wall, timber deck, counters, plants, food and tableware are not included. Plan the flue, support and clearances with an independent installer.

THE FIRE

Start the coals on the side.

Light charcoal in the charcoal starter, then spread the coals on the charcoal tray. The 785 × 420 mm nickel-plated grid takes chops, wors and veg together.

THE POTJIE

Room for something slow.

Swing the suspension arm over the fire and hang your potjie on the hook, while the grid takes care of the rest.

THE DOOR

Prep space where you need it.

The slide-in door system comes with a prep table, so the plates, tongs and the next round have a place right at the braai.

What is included?

The 1000 Entertainer braai body in 304 stainless steel, with its slide-in door system and prep table, a nickel-plated cooking grid, a charcoal tray, a charcoal starter, a swivel suspension arm with a potjie hook and a light fitting that takes a conventional light bulb. It comes without a cowl. The flue pipe, bend, cowl and insulation blanket are optional extras, sold separately.

Which fuel can I use?

Wood or charcoal. The charcoal tray and the charcoal starter come with the braai.

How much cooking space is there?

The nickel-plated cooking grid is 785 mm wide and 420 mm deep. The swivel arm and hook hold a potjie for slow cooking alongside.

Is the flue included?

No. The braai comes without a flue pipe or cowl. A stainless-steel flue pipe, a bend, a storm cowl and an insulation blanket are optional extras on this page. The flue pipe is a 1,200 mm section; how many you need depends on your building. Send a photo and measurements for a flue and configuration quote.

How much space do I need?

With its front frame, the braai is 1,100 mm wide. Ask us to confirm the body, gather and flue sizes against the unit you order before you build the opening. These are product dimensions, not a building opening. Have your installer check the actual unit and safe clearances before building.

What is it made of?

The firebox chamber and smoke gather are 304 grade stainless steel. The cooking grid is nickel-plated.

Can it double as a fireplace?

No. Jetmaster designs its braais for cooking, not for use as a fireplace.

What does the guarantee cover?

The braai box has a 5-year Jetmaster guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship, from the invoice date, with normal domestic use and maintenance. Grids, charcoal trays and starters, flue pipes and cowls carry 12 months against defects. Misuse, wear, rust, corrosion, discolouration, water ingress and sea influence are excluded, and installation and maintenance terms apply. Ask us for the full terms.
