Good questions

Before the first fire.

Are all wood fireplaces closed combustion?

No. This range includes open wood fireboxes as well as enclosed stoves and inserts. Use the wood fire style filter to compare the type you want.

Is a wood-burning stove the same as a wood fireplace?

A wood-burning stove is one kind of wood fireplace. The broader range also includes open fireboxes and fitted inserts. Compare the combustion style and installation format as well as the name.

Can I burn coal in a wood fireplace?

Only if the manufacturer permits it for the exact appliance. A wood-burning fireplace is not automatically multifuel. Check the permitted-fuel instructions before choosing or operating a model.

What size fireplace do I need?

Have a suitable installer assess your room, including its dimensions, insulation, ceiling height and connected spaces. Compare the exact model’s output information; kW alone does not guarantee coverage.

Can I fit an insert into an existing fireplace opening?

It depends on the opening, appliance, chimney or flue and ventilation. Have the site assessed and use the exact model’s installation drawing before ordering.

Can I get a double-sided wood fireplace?

Yes. Use the double-sided filter to see built-in and freestanding options in this range. Check the dimensions and fitting requirements of the exact version.

Are the flue and fitting included in the price?

Check the included items and options on the product page. Flue components, hearth or surround work and installation may be separate costs. We sell and deliver fireplaces; we do not install them.

Do you deliver wood fireplaces across South Africa?

Yes. Confirm the delivery cost, availability, timing and receiving arrangements for your chosen product and address before booking the fitting work. Most wood fireplaces are made or ordered for you, so delivery usually takes 10–12 working days.

Can I return a fireplace?

Yes. If a fireplace does not suit you, you can return it within 14 days. The Terms give the conditions.
