The 1050 brings a real open wood fire into your masonry surround. Stack the logs in the grate basket on the fire grid, set the draw with the built-in damper and let the warmth spread through the room by natural convection. When the fire is out, the ash drawer slides out for emptying, so clearing up is quick.

What is included?
The 1050 built-in fireplace with its grate basket, fire grid, ash drawer and built-in damper. Homefires also supplies insulation material and touch-up paint. Flue pipes, collars, the cowl, building materials and installation are separate.
How much heat does it give?
Homefires gives a heating volume of 160 m³ for this fireplace. We do not have a kW rating for it. Send us your room size and we will help you check the choice.
Which flue does it take?
The rectangular outlet on top measures 435 × 235 mm. Optional 220 × 420 mm flue pipes, joining collars and a cowl are offered under Complete your setup. Have your installer confirm the route, joints, support and roof exit, or send measurements for a flue and configuration quote.
How much height should I allow?
The body is 755 mm high and the gather above it is 230 mm, so together they are 985 mm high before the flue. The body is 1,090 mm wide and 475 mm deep; the front frame is 1,145 mm wide and 770 mm high. Check the actual unit before building the surround.
How is it built in?
It goes into a masonry surround, with the gather and flue hidden behind the finished wall. Your installer confirms the opening, insulation, hearth and clearances for the actual unit.
Is it a convection fireplace?
Yes. Homefires builds it with a natural convection system, as well as the warmth of the open fire.
