The Professional Universal 1050 is Jetmaster's single-sided open fireplace, made to be built in. Wood or charcoal burns in the basket grate over its pan, and the fire warms the room with convection and radiated heat. Damper control helps you manage the fire. Send us your plans and we will quote the flue and the rest of the setup.

WINTER EVENINGS AT HOME

The best seat in the house faces the fire.

A cold winter evening, a mug of hot chocolate and logs crackling on the basket grate. Gran and Grandpa settle into the sofa with the little one between them, and the stories start. The open fire warms the room, and nobody is in a hurry to go to bed.

The chimney breast, raised stone hearth, firewood, log basket, sofa, rug and décor are not included. Plan the flue, hearth and clearances with an independent installer.

THE HEAT

Warmth, two ways.

The 1050 warms the room with convection and radiated heat, and the damper control helps you manage the fire. The advertised heating capacity is 100 m² with wood: use it as a guide for your room, not a promise.

THE FIRE

Wood or charcoal, on the basket grate.

Build the fire in the basket grate, which stands in its pan. Wood or charcoal are listed for this fireplace, and a log pan or a gas grate is also offered for the 1050. This listing has the basket grate and pan.

THE FLUE

Two flue sizes to plan around.

It takes a rectangular flue of 400 × 200 mm or a round flue of 325 mm, in 1,200 mm sections. Plan the route first, then see Complete your setup for the flue parts, or ask us for a flue quote.

Wood or charcoal. Both are listed for this fireplace. Build the fire in the basket grate, which stands in its pan.

How much heat does it give?

The Universal warms the room with convection and radiated heat, and the damper control helps you manage the fire. The advertised heating capacity is 100 m² with wood for the 1050. Treat it as a guide, not a promise for every room.

Which flue does it need?

There are two flue sizes for the 1050: a rectangular flue of 400 × 200 mm, or a round flue of 325 mm in diameter. Round flue pipe comes in 1,200 mm sections. Have an independent installer plan the flue route and height for your home. Your installer must follow the unit's installation manual.

How much space do I need?

The body is 1,099 mm wide, 503 mm deep and 780 mm high, and the gather adds 252 mm on top. The front frame adds 100 mm to the body width in total. These are product dimensions, not a building opening. Have your installer confirm the opening, the hearth and safe clearances with the actual unit before building.

Is it single-sided or double-sided?

Single-sided: the fire opens to one room. This is the 1050 Professional Universal, built in rather than freestanding.

Can I choose another grate?

A log pan, or a standard or deluxe gas grate, is also offered for this fireplace. This listing comes with the basket grate and pan for wood or charcoal. Ask us if you would rather have another grate.

What does the warranty cover?

The Universal fireplace box has a five-year Jetmaster warranty from the invoice date against defects in materials and workmanship, with normal domestic use and maintenance. The basket grate and pan have a twelve-month accessory warranty against defects. Exclusions and installation requirements apply, so ask us for the full terms.
